Happy Independence Day

Many people believe that animals do not deserve the respect that humans do when they make a mistake. How could someone think that it would be acceptable to beat and abuse a living thing for any reason at all. For example, the owner of this dog was in her house sleeping. Her grandchildren thought that is was okay to put fireworks in the dogs mouth and light them after binding the dogs muzzle.
 
The dog was saved by the SPCA, but now has to live with this wound that should have never happened.

    I am so mad and aggravated about these pictures it sickens me and i think animal abuse should result in the death penalty. I am a huge animal lover and my career is going to be involving working with animals. Animals are so innocent and helpless. Unlike cruel, evil, demonic people. I care so much more about animals then people. How anyone could look in the eyes of an innocent animal and do something like this is beyond me. Nothing in this whole entire world makes me more mad then animal abuse. There are NOT enough or strict enough laws against animal abuse. It has nothing to do with republicans or democrats, it has to do with the simple fact of being a human being. The earth belongs to animals, not people. They were here first!
